"We're Big on Small"

British Columbia "Specialty Foods" Directory
Application

Small Scale Food Processing Association

We are pleased to announce the creation of a new web-based specialty foods directory for British Columbia.

The Small Scale Food Processor Association invites all specialty food processors and producers to participate in a new online, province-wide directory of BC-processed specialty foods and BC-grown specialty foods. The SSFPA is creating the directory, but participants do not have to be SSFPA members. Our goal is to provide small-scale processors and producers throughout the province with greater access to alternative sales channels and a simpler, faster and more convenient way for the food service industry to source local foods.

The British Columbia Specialty Foods Directory will provide a new market channel for many small-scale processors and producers in the province. And it will provide much easier access for food service buyers who want to source local, specialty foods.

The directory will be marketed to chefs, food service buyers, food and beverage managers/directors in fine dining and mid-priced restaurants and hotels, caterers, specialty and artisan bakeries, and select specialty shops.

There is no fee for this service. There are, however, entry criteria and they are listed below.

To be included in the 2006 BC Specialty Foods Directory, please complete this questionnaire and follow directions for submission as outlined below.
